CHP Child Safety Week

Parents, the CHP will be looking for you. This week is Child Safety Week. Parents need to use infant seat or child booster seats when their children are in the car. Highway Patrol Officer Justin Barnthouse says officers will be looking for drivers who do not have their children buckled up, and will be issuing citations.

Barnthouse says parents can come by the CHP office on McCourtney Road to learn how to properly secure your child or to have your vehicle checked. Officers are saying there is no excuse for not buckling up your children.
