CHP Fair Traffic Reminders

No major traffic incidents around the Nevada County Fair. However, the CHP wants drivers in the area to be aware of potential traffic hazards as traffic increases during peak fair hours.

Tassone says that traffic tends to back up during the evenings and also will be heavy all day Saturday and Sunday.

The worsted traffic hazard at the fair is the exit from gate 4 to McCortney on that blind turn,( South bound McCortney into Vehicles leaving the fair. This is a very bad place to enter mcCourtney rd north bound.
CHP and the fair should Note this Hazzard.
