CHP Rear-Ended at La Barr Meadows Light

An Auburn man hit the wrong car when his foot slipped off the brake. CHP Public Information Officer Marc Morrison says a 59 year old Auburn man driving his 2006 Toyota on Highway 49 hit the back of a Ford Crown Victoria, Tuesday evening. Officer Morrison says the driver said his foot slipped off the brake and hit the gas pedal, near the new traffic light at La Barr Meadows Road. When the driver hit the gas the Toyota ran into the rear of a on duty CHP officer’s car. Officer Morrison says there were no injures.
