CHP Selects Ford Explorer Patrol Vehicle

For over a decade the Ford Crown Victoria has been the official car of the California Highway Patrol, but that is about to change.¬† Looking for a more versatile vehicle with a higher gross weight capacity, the Highway Patrol put out a request for bids and have selected the Ford Explorer SUV for the agency’s new patrol vehicle.
