CHP Urges Motorists-Play It Safe on Game Day

The Superbowl is this Sunday and many people will be having or will be going to parties. CHP Officer David Martinez says with that there tends to be drinking.   He has this advice.

Martinez says that could be keeping the phone number for a taxi handy or designating a driver before the drinking starts.

Last year on Superbowl Sunday the California Highway Patrol arrested almost 400 people, and that was just  the CHP and does not include DUI arrests made by  county sheriff’s and city police departments.
