Van Son says area grocery stores have been great partners each year, where you can buy a 10-dollar bag of food at Raley’s and Safeway in Grass Valley, or a 5-dollar bag at the Penn Valley Holiday Market. The value of the food is actually much higher. She says there are currently around 6-thousand families still registered with the Food Ministry, a number that has fluctuated only slightly in recent years…
