Tom Cross completed the academy a couple of years ago, and felt after that, that he should get involved. He asked what he could do, and was told that he could serve on various boards and commissions….

Cross has been involved with that for a couple of years now, and also serves on the cannabis Citizens Advisory Group. There is an application to fill out, which you can do online at www.mynevadacounty.com/nc/ceo/Pages/Citizen%27s-Academy.aspx. The deadline is Friday. About 15 people will be selected.
