Along with finance and administration, attendees will be informed about the sheriff’s department, office of emergency services, the district attorney and public defender ‘s office and other community services as part of each two and a half hour session. The Academy usually includes tours of facilities, including the jail and the supervisors offices, as well as informational presentations from different department leaders.
