CIty Chickens- You Can Do it

It’s legal to raise chickens in Grass Valley and Nevada City! And if you want to learn how, the Nevada County Resource Conservation District is hosting a couple of workshops- Raising “City” Chickens.  Workshop Coordinator, Sabrina Nicholson says Janey Powers- aka “The Chicken Lady”, raises prize-winning chickens on her Hopeful Hill Ranch west of Nevada City.

The seminar is scheduled for Thursday, March 7th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
