City Council Could Allow Dogs at Public Events

After discussing the issue at the last few meetings, the Grass Valley City Council is expect to vote on whether or not to allow people to bring their dogs to public events. Dogs are currently not allowed, but Nevada City and Truckee to allow people to bring their dogs if they are on a leash. The Downtown Association is the group that puts on most of the events like the Thursday Night Market and Cornish Christmas. Raymond says updating their insurance to cover incidents that might result from having dogs at events is too costly…
