City Council to Discuss Drought Preparedness

City Manager Dave Brennan says the team would be made up of city officials such as himself and the Public Works Director, and also a Drought Technical Advisory Committee, which would be made of water officials from the Nevada Irrigation District, and emergency services coordinators. Those people would advise residents when there is a water shortage, and what they would have to do to conserve water…

…such as rebates for low-flow toilets or shower heads. The City Council normally meets on Wednesdays, but the meeting was moved to tonight because of Victorian Christmas. It’s also the only time the council will meet this month.
