Holt says Clara and The Nutcracker is similar while at the same time different from the original Nutcracker Suite.

Holt has been involved with ballet and dance productions for almost 40 years, and made the decision to partner with the Miners Foundry for “Clara and the Nutcracker” last year. Prior to that she was in a smaller venue.

Holt  is using talented youngsters in their first production; pre-professionals with some experience,  and a special guest performer to help set the stage.

Clara and The Nutcracker is only at the Miners Foundry for two performances, December 10 and 11 at 7:00 PM. Holt and Kress both say to buy your reserved seats early because they hope to sell out the shows both nights. If the performance sells out there will not be tickets at the door.
