The Nevada County Clerk-Recorder’s Office has reopened to in-person services. It had been closed since January 20th, after an altercation between an employee and a recall supporter. The announcement also comes as a judge granted a temporary restraining order against three recall supporters, late last week. A hearing on a permanent order is scheduled for February 22nd. The incident stemmed from a disagreement over the county’s indoor mask mandate.
