Cold Weather Shelter Open Tonight

With temperatures dropping below freezing and cold blustery winds on hand, the Salvation Army is opening its warming shelter tonight.

Spokesperson Sarah Eastberg says the Salvation Army van will be picking up at the usual locations.

Though it has not been confirmed, it is likely the shelter will also be open New Years Eve.

Also- the Salvation Army is in desperate need of blankets and sleeping bags. If you can assist you can drop items off at the salvation Army on Alta Street in Grass Valley.
