Cold Weather Shelter Open Tonight in Grass Valley

With temperatures expected to drop below 32 degrees for the next couple of nights, the Salvation Army is opening the Cold Weather Shelter on Alta Street in Grass Valley. The shelter is available for anyone in the county. Salvation Army Captain, Don Sheppard, says the shelter can even accomodate pets.

The Salvation Army works in collaboration with local law enforcement agencies to help those in need get to the shelter.

Sheppard says the overnight guest get a bed and three meals.
The Salvation Army Cold Weather Shelter will likely be open the next few nights and is located on Alta Street in Grass Valley.
