Collision Knocks Out Power By Airport

A two car collision knocked out power in the Nevada County Airport area, Monday afternoon. CHP Officer Justin Barnhouse says the accident happened when a 2001 Honda driven by a 64 year old Nevada City woman pulled into the path of of a 2004 Ford Excursion driven by a  40 year old Grass Valley man. Officer Barnhouse explains what happened in the crash.

A teenage passenger in the Ford was taken to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital with non life threatening injures. PG&E was able to restore power to the area. The accident remains under investigation.
