More public input has been taken this week regarding a Community Health Improvement Plan for Nevada County. Results of a first-ever Health Assessment Survey were released in June which established priorities. That includes mental health, substance abuse, chronic disease prevention, and access to care. Public Health Director Jill Blake says a diverse steering committee that includes a cross-section of public and private citizens, has been holding community meetings. Among the comments heard this week were concerns from young people about reducing smoking…
Blake says concerns about senior care were also heard. She says the Plan can be used by health, education, and other human service agencies, in collaboration with community partners to better coordinate and target resources…
Blake says at least one more community meeting will be scheduled before the Plan is released, likely sometime in November, with specific strategies identified.

I do wish that you would have put the questions in format
where we seniors could have responded and given you valuable feedback as to the necessities that are not being met in GV/NC area.
I'm not able to click on whatever was translated by watching the videos therefore am unaware of the instructions relayed on those videos.
Not all seniors are able to participate in the "technology world" so pls take this into consideration.
