Most of the work impacting  local traffic has already occurred, and the Chief Funk says weather permitting the new pavement should be laid and work wrapped up in the next week or so. The station continues to operate at full strength while the work is being completed.

Funk does ask that drivers proceed with caution while traveling near the station.

Funding for the re-paving project was allocated in this year’s budget so it does not have a negative fiscal impact on the Fire District.
