Whittlesey says 60 to 70 entries are the typical number for this parade, but she says there may be a few more, because of the anniversary. Other common entries for the parade include bands, marching units, equestrians, and vehicles. There is no fee. Entries are accepted all the way until the day of the parade which, this year, is Sunday, September 11th, at 2pm, on Broad Street in Nevada City.
