Contractors Raise Funds for Fire Victims

Last week it was KNCO and The Nevada County Food Bank collecting food and donations for those in need this holiday season. This week it is the Nevada County Contractors Association raising money for Rive Fire victims. Bre Deschaine, with the Association, says the first annual drive thru BBQ, which took place Thursday evening, sold out in a matter of weeks.

 

The BBQ raised over 6000 dollars, with 220 tickets sold ahead of time, and they were also collecting food and toys for other organizations supporting those in need.

 

Britney Young with Youngs Carpet One was happy to be part of the process.

 

The Nevada County Contractor Association has over 340 members representing all business that support construction efforts in the county.
