The famed Job’s Daughters Corn Dogs at the Nevada County Fair spurred a line of more than 20 people Wednesday morning at the fairgrounds in Grass Valley. And that’s for tickets to get the corn dog, not for the food itself.
Grass Valley resident Cathy Souza had about $40 in cash to buy 10 tickets for her co-workers at the fair.
The fair opened Wednesday and runs through Sunday. Up to 100,000 people are expected the to attend the fair that the Los Angeles Times calls one of the top 10 of such events in America.
