Cornish Christmas Begins In Grass Valley

Grass Valley’s traditional kickoff of the holiday season is tonight, with the Cornish Christmas Celebration. And the Executive Director of the Downtown Association, Marni Marshall, says this also happens to be the 50th year of this event…

You’ll also find the usual features, including carolers, jugglers, musicians, fire pits, mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, along with 16 food vendors and 40 craft vendors. Cornish Christmas is featured for the next 5 Friday nights. But Marshall says, for the first time, a more scaled down daytime event has been added for Saturday, December 2nd, that’s called “The Town Square”…

That’s going on from 2-7pm. Cornish Christmas happens from 6 to 9pm.
