Two Nevada County supervisors, Heidi Hall and Dan Miler, have launched a coronavirus relief fund, co-sponsoring a recommendation to allocate 100-thousand dollars. Caleb Dardick, who is leading a local Business Task Force, says the full board is expected to vote on the recommendation at their meeting Tuesday morning. He says they’re trying to create a Relief Fund for organizations that often slip through the cracks, when it comes to state and federal funding…
Dardick says the Relief Fund will be coordinated by the Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Foundation, Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation, and the Sierra Business Council…
Small business owners will also be able to apply for resilience micro-grants managed by the Business Council, which are intended to help them cover some of their expenses until they can reopen.
