Coronavirus Challenge Grant Proposed For Nevada Co

Two Nevada County supervisors, Heidi Hall and Dan Miler, have launched a coronavirus relief fund, co-sponsoring a recommendation to allocate 100-thousand dollars. Caleb Dardick, who is leading a local Business Task Force, says the full board is expected to vote on the recommendation at their meeting Tuesday morning. Small business owners will also be able to apply for resilience micro-grants managed by the Business Council, which are intended to help them cover some of their expenses until they can reopen.
