CoRR’s Walk for Recovery-Open House this Weekend

Community Recovery Resources, CoRR,  will be dedicating their new facility this weekend with an open house today and another chance to tour the facility  Saturday morning. The ribbon cutting will take place at 4:30 Friday afternoon and the Saturday event  coincides with the Walk for Recovery,  which Shelley Rogers  CoRR’s Development Associate says will take off from CoRR’s old location on Henderson St.  for a walk to the new campus on Sierra College Drive.

The walk begins at 9:30 a.m.  at 440 Henderson Street in the parking lot of the Beam Easy Living center.   Rogers says, Recovery  equals Hope,  and the walk will recognize individuals who have sustained  long term recovery and the people and the organizations that make recovery possible.  September is also National Recovery Month.
