Community Recovery Resources, CoRR, will be dedicating their new facility this weekend with an open house today and another chance to tour the facility Saturday morning. The ribbon cutting will take place at 4:30 Friday afternoon and the Saturday event coincides with the Walk for Recovery, which Shelley Rogers CoRR’s Development Associate says will take off from CoRR’s old location on Henderson St. for a walk to the new campus on Sierra College Drive.

The walk begins at 9:30 a.m. at 440 Henderson Street in the parking lot of the Beam Easy Living center. Rogers says, Recovery equals Hope, and the walk will recognize individuals who have sustained long term recovery and the people and the organizations that make recovery possible. September is also National Recovery Month.
