Cosby Coming to Fairgrounds This Summer

More popular performers are coming to Grass Valley. The Center for the Arts has just added Bill Cosby and Mary Chapin-Carpenter to their lineup–both in July. The Cosby performance will be an outdoor show, July 5 at the Nevada County Fairgrounds. Center for the Arts Executive Director Julie Baker says they already had the stage for that night, and after repeated contact with Cosby’s agent, the dominoes fell into place to get him here…

Mary Chapin-Carpenter and Marc Cohn are touring together and will be here July 19 at the Veterans Memorial Building. Baker says Cohn has been here before…

Dana Carvey, Winona Judd, and Paul Reiser are also performers who have been here this year. Tickets to both events go on sale to Center for the Arts members today (Monday), and to the general public May 13.
