Council Approves Additional Signs, Probation Agreement, and Sewer Ordinance

New businesses and commercial endeavors that move into Grass Valley will have to meet higher standards when it comes to releasing waste-water into the Grass Valley sewer system.

The Council also approved the installation of additional no smoking signs within the downtown core; standardizing all of the parking signs in public areas, and approving an agreement with Nevada County Probation to reimburse the Grass Valley Police Department for officers used in regularly scheduled probation sweeps to monitor an increase of probationers the result of a trickle down effect from State Prison realignment.
