The Nevada City City Council has some loose ends to tie up at its meeting tonight. The council will have the second reading of the so-called ‘formula business ordinance’ which would regulate chain stores from opening inside the city limits. They are also expected to approve the Sugarloaf Mountain Master Plan, which City Manager Mark Prestwich describes as a ‘vision document’…
There have been several ideas about building a trail on the mountain, and also a parking lot for access. Prestwich says those have been discussed, but this plan does not outline any specific projects…
The council is expected to adopt the plan, likely by a unanimous vote. Tonight’s meeting is at 6:30 at City Hall.
