The holiday seasons turn quickly in Nevada County. Thanksgiving is over, and now the Christmas season gets underway with the Country Christmas Faire, at the Nevada County Fairgrounds. Deputy Fair manager Robin Hauck says it’s always new and different…
There will even be ‘errand elves’ to assist, which are students from Clear Creek School, and free babysitting will be provided by the Girl Scouts. Hauck says all kinds of hand-crafted gifts will be available, and it’s a juried show, which means you’ll find things that are unique. And there’s always the traditional holiday flavor of the event…
The Country Christmas Faire is today (Friday) and tomorrow from 10am to 5pm, and Sunday 10 to 4pm. Sunday also features a canned food drive. Bring a canned food item and get one dollar off the admission price. The Grass Valley Elks will collect the food, and will use the items in their Christmas baskets that they will hand out next month.
