County Pot Initiative to be Known as Measure W

It will be known as Measure W. That’s the name for the Nevada County June ballot measure that asks voters if they want to ban medical marijuana cultivation. The County Elections Department will also have two measures for Nevada City residents. Measure X asks voters to change the city’s business license tax system. Measure Y ask voters if they would like to repeal the recent short term rental ordinance passed by the city, and replace it with more strict regulations for so-called “air B-and-Bs”.
