Now that the Nevada County Board of Supervisors has approved a company to run an advisory committee on marijuana recommendations, the next step is to get committee members. The application process is now underway…
County Community Development Agency Director Sean Powers says they haven’t decided how many members will be on the committee. He says that will be based on how many people are interest, the level of interest, and what different views each can bring to the table…
You can download the application from the county’s website www.mynevadacounty.com or pick one up at the Rood Center. The application is due no later than 5pm on May 2. Powers says they hope to have the first Community Advisory Group meeting before the end of next month.
