County Begins Search for New HHSA Director

Nevada County is loosing it’s current Health and Human Services Director. County CEO Rick Haffey says Stewart Knox has been on the job for just 9 months after taking over for Jeff Brown who left to accept a position in Placer County.

Haffey says the Health and Human Services Agency Director is one of the top level positions for the county.

An interim director is expected to be chosen within three weeks and Haffey says recruitment of a new Health and Human Services Agency Director could take about three months.
