County Gets An Extra Million For Sewer Project

The previous funds were through the State Water Resources Control Board for five million dollars, with about one-point-24 million more coming from community block grants. Castleberry admits he’s surprised to see the funding come through so quickly…

The bid was awarded to a Penn Valley construction firm last week. Work is scheduled to begin next month, and should take a little less than a year to complete.
