So, Brown says the Community Development Block Grant will allow the sewage to be diverted to the more modern Lake Wildwood plant, and waste would be processed there. It’s the first time in four years that they have been successful in getting the grant funding. Brown says the pipeline should ultimately result in lower rates. The Board of Supervisors will formally accept the grant when all of the official documents are received.
