Beason recently made a trip to Washington D-C with other R-C-R-C delegates to lobby for the funding, along with some other issues. Beason also credits Congressman Doug LaMalfa and County Superintendent of Schools Holly Hermanson for also lobbying government representatives to secure the funding.
