It figures to be the ninth and final meeting of Nevada County’s cannabis Community Advisory Group, or CAG. The 16-member panel, led by a private consulting firm, will review areas of potential agreement on a revised cannabis ordinance, and also come up with other areas that they feel need further discussion. Those recommendations will ultimately be used by county staff in a revised marijuana ordinance, which would go before the Board of Supervisors early next year. Because the CAG will be holding nine meetings instead of eight, the consulting firm will collect an additional 14-thousand dollars from the county, which should be formally approved by the Board of Supervisors this morning. The CAG meeting is from 1:30 to 5pm at the Foothill Events Center on Idaho Maryland Road.
