There’s also the Senior Outreach Nursing Program, where workers can come out and take blood pressure and just check on seniors and other individuals, and the Public Guardian’s Office, for adults who are unable to take care of themselves. In 2015 C-P-S social workers responded to over 1,153 referrals of abuse in the county, and had 3,000 face to face contacts.
