County Hopes Testing Leads to Less Restrictions

With a new testing facility successfully launched in Grass Valley, county officals are hoping increased testing will position the county to allow for lessening of restrictions put in place to limit potential spread of the coronavirus. During a tour of the testing site at the Grass Valley Veteran’s Building, County Health and Human Services Director, Ryan Gruver said having a testing site will help the county to respond positively as the Governor announces criteria and requirements.

Gruver says the new site is open for anybody to test, but an appointment is needed.
