Nevada County Supervisor Richard Anderson’s video is about two minutes long. Anderson represents eastern Nevada County, where a vast majority of the county’s coronavirus cases have been confirmed. He’s advising people not to visit Truckee right now, and for those who have a second home there, should probably shelter in place somewhere else…
To date, 24 of the 34 Nevada County coronavirus cases have come from the Truckee area, with the county’s only Covid-19 death. Wednesday, the county released a print message from Supervisors Heidi Hall and Dan Miller, thanking people for cooperating with the shelter in place order.
