County Making Sure Openings Don’t Go Too Far

With some restaurants open, and residents loving the idea of dining out again, it seems that some businesses and fans got a little carried away over the weekend…

It’s also not allowed, says Nevada County Environmental Health Director Amy Irani. Also, beginning this week, Irani has issued a guideline that restaurants must provide facial coverings for their employees, along with other social distancing rules. Irani says her staff has visited just about every restaurant, mostly just to guide them in helping them re-open, but she says there are rules to follow, and that’s what her department is there for….

And also state regulations. Irani says her staff will be checking with restaurants regularly to make sure guidelines are being followed.
