The Nevada County Board of Supervisors has passed a 2020-21 budget. The 266-million dollar plan includes more expenditures than revenue, but does not include layoffs or deep cuts to core services due to a reserve that the county was able to accumulate over the last decade. The budget was passed unanimously during a special meeting via video conference yesterday morning. No public comment was offered during the session.
