County Property Values On The Rise

Good news for county property owners and county coffers… Property Tax values have increased over the past year. County Assessor, Sue Horne, says final tax roles were submitted to the State at the the end of June.

That amount represents a 137 million dollar increase over the prior year. In 2012 the values dropped 1.2 percent from 2011 so the numbers are not back to where they were, but Horne says they are going in the right direction.

Property owners can immediately view their 2013 assessed value by visiting www.mynevadacounty.com/assessor
