It’s recommended that most people get a flu shot before the flu season hits, you can get one from the county public health department for free tomorrow…It’s their annual drive through flue shot clinic and again will be at Twin Cities Church off of Rough and Ready Highway…. people don’t even have to get out of their car. the shots are for ages 4 and up.
Public health Nurse and Immunization coordinator Charlene Weiss-Wenzel says Flu vaccine is recommended annually for all people age 6 months and older who do not have a contraindication to the vaccine. She says it’s not too early get the vaccine.

The drive thru flu shot clinic is from noon to 4 pm tomorrow .In past years the drive thru flu shot clinic has been part of a public health exercise to practice immunizing a large group of people in a limited amount of time in the event of a pandemic, but that ‘s not the case this time.
