County Supervisors Clarify Outdoor Marijuana Ban Ballot Question

Nevada County Supervisors tomorrow will consider some changes to the ballot language on a measure calling for a total ban on outdoor marijuana grows. Nevada County Counsel Allison Barratt-Green says the clarification is to clear up some misunderstandings the public may have.

Barratt-Green says the supervisors have said they want to give the voters the option to weight in on this important and very controversial issue and that they will abide by whatever decisions the voters make.

If a majority of the voters vote to repeal the ban on outdoor grows, Barratt-Green explains what would happen then.

The item is on the agenda for 1:30 pm  tomorrow afternoon at the Board of Supervisors Chambers at the Rood Center. Supervisor Hank Weston will be in Crescent City tomorrow but will attend the meeting be teleconference.
