Couple Arrested Following Warrant Stop

A couple riding in a car on East Main Street caught the eye of a County Narcotics Officer because the driver was known to be wanted for a felony warrant and had previous drug related offenses. The officer initiated a stop at the Jack in the Box. The driver, 42 year old Jeffery Waters, was not alone in the vehicle.

Upon searching the backpack a tin can containing heroin, a syringe and a spoon was located. Both Waters and Melissa Robertson were booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.
