A male and female subject ended up in custody following search warrant that was issued regarding alleged selling of methamphetamine.
Narcotics Task Force officers served the warrant for a Breanna Bennalack at a Brooks Road address. When officers knocked on the door, Bennalack was detained while other officers cleared the residence. According to Sheriff Keith Royal, a male subject, 25 year old Justin Evans was located in a bedroom pretending to be asleep on the bed.

A .22 caliber revolver was also nearby. Evans was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of paraphernalia, and committing a felony while armed. Bennalack experienced an asthma attack and requested medical assistance. She was transported to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital and self-surrendered upon being medically cleared. She too, was booked on the drug related charges.
