Court Funding Woes Continue Including Here

Despite no state budget deficits in recent years, funding woes continue for most county courts. And the Nevada County Court Executive Officer doesn’t forsee any relief anytime soon, including in this year’s budget. With less funding, Metroka says Nevada County’s courts have only had to reduce counter help by one hour a day. But staffing for self-help services has been cut in half.
