COVID Numbers Down But So Are Vaccines

One week after the governor eliminated the tier system and removed mask mandates and social distancing, COVID case rates remain relatively low compared to prior months. County Public Information Officer Taylor Wolfe says the numbers remain in low single digits.

 

The four day average was just over than 5 per day.; with 13 added to the list on Tuesday.
As of Tuesday afternoon, there were 50 active cases and three hospitalized in the county.

 

Even with expanded offerings and more walk-in appointments available, Wolfe says the county is hovering just over 50% of eligible adults fully vaccinated.

 

Wolfe also says that businesses will soon be able to request a clinic at there store or offices.
