Victims of crime will be remembered and recognized this evening in Grass Valley. A candlelight vigil is going to held in the City Hall parking lot. The event is being put together by the Nevada County Victim Witness Program, the District Attorney’s Office, and the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Coalition. Guest-Brown will speak, as well as District Attorney Cliff Newell, Children’s Protective Services Director Nick Ready, and a crime survivor. The vigil is this evening from 5:30 to 7pm at the corner of East Main and South Auburn Streets.
