Nevada County has relaxed some of the rules to the stay at home order, and we may be on the path to seeing businesses re-opening, but there’s also been a small but sudden spike in coronavirus cases. Activities like golf and archery and hiking are allowed as long as social distancing is practiced, but Cutler, the governor, and other officials say more testing is needed. Cutler told the board that there is progress there, too, especially over the last couple of weeks…
However, there are two more coronavirus cases in the county, both in the Truckee area. That brings the total number of confirmed cases in the county to 41. There have been 12 cases in Western County, and none since April 17.
