Cyclist Critically Injured In Crash

A bicyclist is in critical condition after a driver of a Chevrolet pulled in front of him. CHP Officer Justin Barnthouse says the accident happened yesterday afternoon (Tuesday) on Auburn Road near Kiwi. The 23 year old driver of a 1997 Chevrolet told officers he checked to see if the road was clear before he made a turn. Barnthouse says the driver apparently didn’t see the bicyclist, and pulled right into his path…

The 65 year old Grass Valley man was flown by helicopter to Sutter Roseville Hospital for treatment of serious injures. The accident remains under investigation.
